Probably be a couple more months before we are out of the woods on these vulnerabilities.

Will be interesting to see the class action lawsuits. A lot of people invested a lot of money while they knew of vulnerability.

Yeah, they are in full on "panic mode" to get this fixed & it looks like they're cutting corners to rush it out. Trust me, I'm in no hurry to apply anything they issue, even after they say they "fix it," I'll be waiting for a bit to see what chaos ensues next.

Here's something interesting I read a while back, there was a Mac malware out there for 13 years & it was just discovered last year.

Makes you wonder what else is lurking out there/being exploited.

"Here we have an example of someone who's created custom malware, targeting users very selectively, and keeping a low profile -- for what, 13 years," Wardle told ZDNet in a phone call Wednesday, after the indictment was filed.

"The fact that this guy was able to do this for over a decade is mind-blowing," he said.

Morning Dr Borg so it took 14 years to find that guy....??

and this kid was only 14 years old when he wrote it.

I have a Mac and when I get with Mac users they usually state they use a Mac because it can't be infected. I always correct them and point to stories of Macs being infected inside Apple. I will have to keep this one.

Yepperz. The guy was 14 when he wrote it & he's 28 now. All those years he was spying on folks.

Scary to think about how many other things are out there we don't know about.

Josey my Mac is used to keep my skills up. People call with issues or questions and I can try things in real world.
