It's an age thing Steph. °F was used in the UK for weather forecasts until 15th October 1962 so I was brought up on it. I did use °C for scientific things however.

°C to me is just plain strange, only thing we folks on this side of the pond have ever used is °F :)

I was also brought up on £sd rather that £ and pence, yards rather that metres, pints rather than litres, and acres rather than hectares.
