    Wasn't there something they were also going to do in the Browsers to help with Meltdown and Spectre situations. Last I saw Chrome hadn't been patched but was imminent. Not sure about Firefox.

    There was this posting for MAC's, but it is applicable to Windows versions of Chrome and does not cause crashes. I have 10 tabs opened.

    Firefox 57.0.4 and Firefox 58 BETA 15 have been patched or fixed but I doubt that any legacy versions were.

    FF has been patched. Chrome not yet but they suggest enabling Strict Site Isolation in chrome:\\flags
