    Microsoft MakeCode

Anybody here have any experience with this, https://makecode.com/ namely https://makecode.microbit.org/ ? Probably not the way to go if your a serous coder. I may go with Micro Python.

I just got my first BBC Micro Bit and started poking around with that block editor. So far all I'm getting out of it is a head ache. I'm not finding it very intuitive or all that easy to use. It's supposed to make programing easier for children. I guess I'll have to go through the Reference section, https://makecode.microbit.org/reference and do some of the lessons. http://microbit.org/en/2017-03-07-ja...ock-resources/ I might just be too impatient.

Any other micro controller geeks out there?

I gave up on the block editor, just couldn't wrap my head around how it is supposed to work? Went with micro python instead. I got some code sorted out to run a Micro Pixel Edge. Brute forced more than anything. It worked though. Christmas light string on the Pixel Edge and a Happy Holidays message on the Micro Bits LED matrix. The Micro Bit is a totally different animal from my Raspberry Pi. Still an interesting bit of tech though. Arduino like I guess.
