This may very well end up being my toughest project yet. All of it not just the reflective sensor. I'll likely create a thread / topic just for it, maybe on Pimoroni instead of here. I'll link to it from here though.
I ordered a second Arduino UNO too, so I can have one dedicated to the rover and not have to plug unplug it over and over from the shield. Just going to break somethng doing that.
Its a totally diiferent ball game going from the Pi to Arduino. Being a Micro Controller hooking up any kind of display is not easy. And sending your info to it is another challange. There is no underlying OS.
I may have to setup a serial connection from a PI or PC to see whats actually happening etc with my code.

Ordered some PI stuff too. A Proto Hat to replace the one I "think" is givving me issues with my portable weather clock. Another badly needed Pi power supply. I have way more Pi's than power supplies to run them.
Some booster headers, one for my Unicorn Hat HD and one for the Piano Hat they gave me. Also bought one of the telephoto clip on lenses for a Pi Camera.

    And one of these, https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/u...r-robo-bit-mk2
Been wanting the sensor part for a while now. Once I sort out what the extra header does, I'll decide if it stays or goes. The logic level it uses will decide what it gets used with.
I'm hoping I can use it with Arduino. I want to mount it to a servo. Then have the servo sweep it from side to side, scanning like radar.

This is what I'll have once its all assembled, minus the blade thing, Pololu - Zumo Robot for Arduino
I skipped the blade as its just going to catch on things and I want to add my own forward facing obstacle sensor on the front. At some point I'll likely make something up with my dremel to make it look nice, and add some bump protection in case my code fails lol. Testing will be done with empty Tim Hortons cups or something. Home made itty bitty traffic cones lol.

My order shipped yesterday, big sale today, how does that always happen.
Only would have saved me a buck as near as I can tell. I had a cable that was 2 bucks in my order thats on sale for 1 buck. Not going to get to worked up about that, lol.
And most of the stuff on sale isn't anything I need or want. Still, if anybody was thinking of ordering some stuff might want to go have a look see.

Official 3A+ case is out, Raspberry Pi Official Model 3 A+ Case ID: 4096 - $5.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique fun DIY electronics and kits
Looks like they simplified it with just the one cover this time.
I'm thinking the A+ should fit in there as well, for those of us that have one.

3A+ in the official 3B case? I have a Pibow A+ case here you can have if you want it. It should fit the 3A+? Heatsink hole is already cut out of the top layer, its a little messy though to be honest. I think it was my first attempt at cutting a square hole. Its square, just has a few marks from the cutting wheel in the corners. You might have to cut that layer with the crossword puzzle bts on it. Its not in use and I don't need, just never throw anything out, lol. I bought a new all black 3A+ Pibow when I ordered my 3A+.

Nice setup. I have one of those extenders. It came with one of my Logitech keyboards. Its for extending the unifying dongle out for a better signal. I'm actually using it for that very purpose. I have one case where the USB ports on the back are recessed in a bit. I like those all black PIBOW cases. Not to fussy for the rainbow ones to be honest though. Or the other glow in the dark colors lol.
