Looks pretty cool jack. I went hunting for it when you first posted it but couldn't find it. Seeing the picture, I'm going to go have another look see.

I got a reply to my inquiry about the Crickit hat for Raspberry Pi. If it's not in their blog or listed on any product page it does not officially exist. And they won't comment on any future product releases. Short answer is no comment.

found that it doesn't lead to pi code though arduino code ,,,i got it working with there code in another link ,just wacky sounds though ,{kind of neat sounds }, when i get time im going to see if i can switch the sound files in the folder maybe ,maybe not.
i got it running this code ,GitHub - adafruit/Adafruit_Python_MPR121: Python library for interfacing with a MPR121 capacitive touch sensor on the Raspberry Pi, BeagleBone Black, etc.

I was thinking it might get you the drum wav files (sounds) etc you wanted. That you could swap in for what your using now. I didn't actually look at the code though.

In this case, it "should" all be in one place, the info on how to use it that is. I'm not buying until it gets Python code support though. Knowing Adafruit, that may be a cold day in hell before it happens.

It should be pretty close to the Google AIY board, just without the "Google" stuff.
