I am planning to use the scroll phat HD as a clock/weather display. Any suggestion or link for github, etc.?
I understand the scroll led comes with sample programs. Just wondering if you know ofvsomething better?

I don't have one myself. I'd likely get the Unicorn pHat instead. Unicorn pHAT – Pimoroni It has RGB LED's. The down side is no HD version yet, and I think scrolling a message on it is harder.
What I really really want next is the Unicorn Hat HD. Unicorn HAT HD – Pimoroni To replace my Sense Hat and get me some nice 16 by 16 text messages. It's the same deal with that though, doing scrolling messages may be tricky. I'd like to see them do a Scroll Hat HD with the same 16 x 16 RGB LED's. Just to make my life easier when I go to port my code over to it.

Just got a shipping notice this morning.
We'll see if they can keep a next day delivery promise. I placed my order at around 10pm last night.

Next day, I'm way to cheap for that, It's week after next if I'm lucky. lol. Have fun though.
Jack has or had one of those. A project for his grandkid I think. He may have delivered it already, not sure.

Yes, that's right, scroll pHat is only one color, yours does multi color. ops.

My sisters tell me I'm so much like our Father that he will never be dead as long as I'm alive ,He retired at 65 too and lived to be 87 {passed away 5 years ago} so I'm going to do what he did ,go for a nice long walk in the morning and then take it easy till bed time ..lol

I walk 3 K almost every morning. Me and my best buddy Ginger my dog. We miss the odd day if its really pouring down rain or a snow storm, but for the most part we go rain or shine. Then other than yard work etc, I take it pretty easy. I'd miss a lot more mornings if it weren't for a pair of sad brown eyes looking at me when I don't want to get out of bed.
