I got a little farther on but the instructions don't work out? I think its because they are for Wheezy not Jessie, or Stretch. Files they say to edit don't exist etc.? I've run into that before. With my own GPS module. The Adafruit one finally did work for mine but you really had to pay attention. Lots of for Wheezy do this, but for Jessie do this. If its a Pi 2 do this, Pi 3 do this.

I've been having a hard time getting motivated myself. Medical issues here also. Sucks getting old, and I'm not that old.

I'll be 60 in a few months. Sciatica on my left side, bad back and spondylosis in my neck and shoulders. Trying to find a comfortable position to sleep is pretty well mission impossible. I have muscle relaxers that help. I try to only take them when its been a few bad nights in a row.

Anyway, my Micro Bit should arrive this week some time. I may just put it away and not touch it till Christmas. My self imposed hands off on my Pi Rover project will be over on Christmas too. That I wan t to get going on and play with. I have a little bit of wiring left, power boost and battery. The bigey will be getting the wireless keyboard control all sorted out. I only did up a very basic python file to test the motors. As it is now I have no speed control. My plan is to code the number keys so 1 is 10%, 2 is 20%, etc. And maybe some way to do a slow turn. Another option is to control it with the Micro Bit over Blue Tooth. Then use the gyro's in the Micro Bit so just tilting it makes the rover move. I think I'll go with the keyboard first though, lol.

At the moment, I'm on a only when really needed path. Good or bad that's the way I'm going for now. I've been addicted to pain killers etc in the past and don't want to go down that road again. I think that's one of those, what ever works for you deals.

Was looking around here today, https://www.kitronik.co.uk/microbit.html I can see me spending some bucks here. Assuming they ship to Canada. I'd like one of these cases https://www.kitronik.co.uk/c5611-mip...-microbit.html and the mi power board to go with it. That reminds me, need to go buy a Loto ticket, lol.
