After swapping my motion eye hardware around that one Pi that was giving me grief before is acting wierd again? Its a 3B (not a +) and a V1 camera. It is that camera I fixed with the parts you gave me, but it was working fine with a 3B+?
I had it all apart to put some double sided sticky under the lens part so its attacehed to the driver board. It was just siting on top with nothing other than the cable and connector holding it in place.
Might just be the WIFI on the 3B and where it is? In the window with the metal indow frame around it. It's now lagging bad again and stuttering. I lose the connection every now and then too. That same 3B was fine in the house in a different location though so not really sure whats up with that combinatin of parts? I'm thinking at some point its going to be swapped out with a 3B+ and version 2 camera. Of all my cameras I would prefer this one to be the most reliable and its just the opposite.

Looks like I should have left well enough alone. I think its the camera acting up. I've been seeing quick flashes of yellow in the video. Like somebody put a yellow filter in front of the camera.
Took it all apart one last time. Reseated the sun connector on the camera module and reseated the CSI ribbon cable at both ends. Now its wait and see if it acts up again. I'm going to replace it anyway, but it would be nice if it keeps working until I can order a replacement. I would also like to get another 3B+ to replace the 3B thats there now.

Yeah, just good customer service. I think the pictures I took helped them see what happened. I won't be soldering that header on this time around. Its not one I need.
The thing is though, going back after and adding it, if you decide you need it, isn't easy. So I soldered them all on. Once the shield is in place on the rover, you solder the motor wires on and the battery terminals.
To get it off after that you have to unsolder those terminals to get the shield back off. Thats where I'm at now, I'll have to unsolder a few things to get the dead shield off. I'm going to wait till the new parts arrive first though.

I think I figured out why that one camera was lagging so bad. The Motion Eye file storage showed a Disk Usage of 99%? No stored pictures of video though? Just reflashed the card and its back to 0% and my stream is good again. Two other setups are showing 10% usage and no video of pictures stored? I'm thinking something isn't getting deleted. Will just have to keep an eye on it. Reporting it on the Motion Eye forum will be a total waist of time though, trust me.

I saw that posted on the Pi Forum. https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/v...=unread#unread
That one with the White top and Red bottom looks better, IMHO, that the one shown in the above thread. The one you linked to will go nice with the official case.
Make sure you get the English US version and not the English UK one. I can see myself buying one at some point. I like the no numpad on the right to make it smaller.

Just ordered two more Pi 3A+'s this morning. And the Coupe Pibow Ninja cases for them. Going to use them for Motion Eye cameras. Replacements and kind of up grades for my existing ones using Pi 3B's. I'll have 3 3A+ versions all with the V2 camera. ordered another V2 camera too. This will let me use my new 3B+ I bough a while back for other things where I want and or need all the jacks etc.
