Looks like one of my cameras has issues? Getting all kinds of vertical streaks in low light conditions. One of my version 1 cameras. It's the first one I bought way back when they were first released. Must have got knocked around one to many times or something. It was mounted on my bread board rig on top of the monitor. I'll eventually swap it out for a V2. It still works OK in good light, just gets a bit weird in dim light, like now when all thats on in that room is one table lamp. The other two are fine, even in dark conditions. I may just reseat the cable, and that plug thats on the camera module itself. Can't hurt anything, I'm going to bin it eventually anyway.

Hang on to it, if you know where you left it. If your like me, you have many boxes of Pi stuff that may or may not be in any particular order lol. Anyway, I may take you up on the offer. I'm going to redo all the connections tomorrow. Maybe even clean things up with some isopropyl alcohol. If its still messed up I may bum the part off of you at your convince. Thanks for the offer. =)

I'm pretty sure this is the camera I mentioned having weird colors in bright sunlight, like at sundown / sunset. Only had the one version 1 camera then, and the one version 2.
Right now I'm seeing purple and blueish tints in the image. It could very well be the lens / sensor part. It's been bumped around and handled a fair bit.

I'm just this minute putting varous Pi stuff in "my cart" at Pimoroni and Adafruit, lol. Will be placing an order from "one" of them at or near to Christmas. Not sure which one gets my money yet. It will likely depend on which one has all items in stock. Adafruit has a couple of things I can't get a Pimoroni and vis versa. Not doing two seperate orders though. Will make up my mind last minute or with whoever has a good sale etc.
I have a half dozen or so projects that just need some decated time to complete. Just have to get motivated to site down for a day or so and have at it. Hasen't happened though. Benn struggling with my chronic pain porblems. Finally got my doctor to give me some tylonal 1's which are helping. Going to try and up it to tylonal 2's. Had them in the past and they helped a lot. Different doctor though. Now that marijuana is legal here I may go that route. I smoked it in my youth and enjoyed it. If its covered under my drug plan bonus bonus. Assuming I can get my doctor to prescribe it. Off topic but I'm bored and

Thats the thing, from what I hear, the medical marijuana oil has the THC removed. You don't get high. You get pain relief but you don't get high. I'm not saying thats a bad thing, but if I'm paying for it out of "my" pocket I want to get high in the process. I see my doctor again in a month and will see how he reacts to my questions. I'm fine with the no THC if my drug plan is paying, fair is fair. Especially if I get some pain relief. If I'm paying, I'll get what has THC in it.

I'm going to give it a try one way or another. It's legal now so getting it isn't an issue. This last year or so for me, has been a struggle. Up until now its been mostly bearable. The odd flair up, two or three times a year or so. lately though its been more pain than usual and longer than usual periods of high pain. It wears you down. Most of the prescription pain killers just make you drowsy and have consciences. Not good for your liver and or kidney etc.
Granted, smoking weed isn't good for your lungs etc, the oil I would think, isn't any worse than the alternatives. The above mentioned pain killers. I'm leaning towards the pills NSLC sells, I think they are gel caps with the oil in them. If they have THC in them I'm in. The other option is the normal weed and just eat it instead of smoking it. I hope this discussion isn't against forum rules? My apologies if it is.

yeah, side affect usually worse than what you suffer from ,my wife has a bag of drugs she takes morning and night for bad case of fibromyalgia ,she would not even consider pot as a fix or help for her pain

I was told I have the onset of fibromyalgia. Up until recently I only took pain killers on my really bad days. Lately there seem to be more bad than good days. Anyway, life goes on. Hopefully for many more years.

That Pi 3B+ is still running. CPU is only warm to the touch too. We had the furnace turned down over night, it was on the cool side in this room all night. I'm just going to leave it running and see if it glitches again.

Slept in as late as my dog would let me, lol. We would normally be half way through our morning walk by now. I knew I was going to be the only one in out group there this morning so I decide to sleep in and walk latter than usual. Only just having my first cup of java.
