    BSOD hal.dll 0x00000124

So I'm new to this forum and checked out the instructions about posting but still I apologize if I do something wrong.

For a few weeks my PC has been suddenly stopping and displaying the blue screen and saying WHEA UNCORRECTABLE ERROR. I searched for what this could mean and it lead me to installing the BlueScreenView. I know I should analyze my problem with DM Log Collector but before doing that maybe you can help with just what I have from the dump files. I read other people's threads but couldn't figure this out. Thanks in advance

    Hi Smarpey,

    Welcome to 10Forums :)

The only relevant info I see is the first 2 parameter.
The first one indicates the type of 0x124, in this case a Machine Check Exception.
The second is the error structure, data that has been caught by the CPU for the reasoning of the BSOD. Be aware that the reasoning is not the same as the cause.

Any driver mentioned in the picture is from Windows and most likely not relevant.

I can't say anything more about it, because everything else needs to be examined from the dump.

Hello again. The logs show you have a task running that is bad news - it is normally used to illegally activate MS Windows or Office. Do you know anything about this?

Forum rule No 4: No piracy or discussion of piracy allowed at all. Such as software, music, videos and other intellectual property violations (e.g. downloading youtube videos locally etc) - it is forum policy that no help shall be given to people who knowingly steal software or services.

Ahh. The problem is my dear sweet country Bosnia and Herzegovina where you obviously can't even buy a laptop and have on it an original Windows. Sorry then, there's not much I can do. We don't even have a Microsoft shop here. Maybe there's one in the capital on the other side of the country but I'm not quite sure. Sorry for wasting your time, I'll try to somehow solve this by myself.
