Pshed The DLL is not guilty. It shows the device fault or the driver for the third-party program.

Sorry to sound stupid, but what am I looking for in the minidump that tells you whats the problem but also doesn't tell you what's wrong? Is the dump saying a hardware driver is at fault, but not which one?

    1. Windows Hardware test
    2. Driver Verifier.

Boot in safe mode and see if the problem still persist, if the problem exists its definitely a hardware (related) problem.

Ok, so I had yet another crash, was in Chrome yet again, nothing strenuous happening.
I had the driver verifier going but turned it off about an hr ago so I could actually use the computer, damn.

Still, is there any info in this latest dump of use?

I'm not sure what 1. Windows Hardware test is, I've googled, and assume it's not a specific thing, just running software apps to test the hardware?

Trying safe mode next. Lots of similar threads which in a way could indicate it's not my hardware/machine specific...

I saw the blue screen appear when this browser was displayed.
    Install a different version.

I assume that's the active process which may or may not be related at all.

Just for further info, I crashed again today, and it was after I'd thumbnailed a folder of films. After reboot I find all thumbnails have to be regenerated - is this normal?
