    BSOD NMI hardware failure

    Hello all,
I am a newbie and have been struggling with this BSOD NMI Hardware Failure problem for a few months.

I run a HP Workstation on Windows 10 Pro for a couple of years with no problems. Have not added new software or hardware (that I can remembered) and then I get this BSOD when booting the pc. It happens only when I am turning on the pc- it will freeze and I will have to turn off/on many times to overcome the problem. This is despite the automatic diagnosis and repair. I have troubletshoot and believed that it may be the hdd. So I ran HD-Tune deep scan on (all 3) hard siks; result is fine with no damaged sectors. In the end, I decided to clean reinstall Win 10 Pro in the hope that the problem lies (somehow) with the OS.
Alas, no luck- I am still getting the same BSOD.
Attached the DM Log Collector generated.
Any help that can resolve this problem will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

When you first switch the PC on, tap the F9 key and should give the HP diags, worth making sure the hardware is all good pal.

    Hi block306,

    What are your external devices?

    Check HP for BIOS updates.

I have a HP wired keyboard, a MS Bluetooth mouse, external speakers, an external drive and a HP printer attached to the pc.
All of them bar the keyboard (on automatically) and mouse are not on unless used; so turned off during boot.

Not sure if problem can be solved by just BIOS update.

A BIOS update can at least improve things.

    Hi all,
Follow on from above- I have updated the BIOS
I am still getting sporadic BSOD though a lot less. But each episode is now taking many more restarts to get it booted.
I managed to locate the srtTrail file for the last BSOD- appended. Does this indicate that I have a problem with my hard disk?
If so, would formatting the c hdd do the trick?
    Thanks.
