blue screen, exception error/crash when i try to change power settings

hi guys I hope you can help.

my pc has been running fine since I built it around 6 months ago and I always run on the full power mode in windows

thought I would change it today to balanced as the pc often sits idle a lot but when I try to change the power options to balanced it hangs with a bzzzzzzzz noise or it gets the windows exception screen and says collecting data..if I do manage to get it on balanced mode it always crashes about 10 seconds into windows when its loaded with the same error,if I can quickly get it back onto full power mode it crashes but then its fine when windows loads again.

    any ideas?

Please fill in your system specs
Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely including PSU, cooling and other used stuff like mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, etc.
The PSU, cooling and other stuff are NOT mentioned in the tool.

In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'. After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

Sorry for the delay, I somehow missed your thread.

Please (re)move some files to increase the free space to at least 25GB.

Update the BIOS to version F22a.
