    Run following commands in an admin command prompt
    Code:
    chkdsk D: /r
    chkdsk E: /r
    If asked to unmount, close everything that requires something from the partition and press Y.

    OK, that is done and both times I got

    Windows has scanned the file system and found no problems.No further action is required.
