BSOD while watching Youtube videos: DPC Watchdog Violation

I keep getting a BSOD every time I try to watch Youtube videos. It is always a DPC Watchdog Violation. I recently updated to a new windows version after having issues after doing a reset.

Hello and welcome BrPain mate can you please follow these I for one cannot use RAR files
Configure Windows 10 to Create Minidump on BSOD

    and post back the files.

    First please follow this
Now before we can help we do need to know what is in your machine so please do this Create System Information File in Windows 10 Windows 10 BSOD Tutorials
or either enter the specs of your system in your forum profile the specs will appear when we click on that little box bottom left of the post screen it is for me the preferable option as it is easy. As you may appreciate it is very hard when you don’t know what one is working with for example a diesel or petrol engine.

Usually it is one of the Intel drivers that causes the issue. You can download "Whocrashed" and it will tell you in easy to read what the problem is. See this for information about how to diagnose a dump log. 3 Ways to Analyze Memory Dump (.dmp) File • Raymond.CC

Ordinarily BSOD posts would be in the BSOD forum.

Please post a DM log collector zip: BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums

    Hi BrPain,

The crash dump you posted shows that your Realtek Wireless driver (rtwlane.sys) is causing the DPC bugchecks.

I would suggest updating to the latest version of the driver, first try the latest release HP approved for your laptop, and if that doesn't resolve the issues, upgrade to the latest version straight from realtek.

    Latest version from HP: Link

Latest version from Realtek: Link (Run Setup.exe)

    Code:
        Loaded symbol image file: rtwlane.sys
        Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\rtwlane.sys
        Image name: rtwlane.sys

Contrary to what you might expect it is actually the older rtwlane.sys that you need. Please rollback the Wireless LAN driver in Device Manager. There have been many cases of this error caused by the newer 2017 versions of the driver although it usually ASUS laptops not HP.
