Which application/download on the Gigabyte web site had this driver?
    How has the performance changed?
Are the freezes the same, worse, or better?
Have there been any spontaneous bsod?
Have you started the Furmark stress testing?

When using file explorer > this PC > local C: drive > type: name of driver or full location on c drive. One or both will work. Occasionally there may be no search result because by default the item is hidden. Then click on view and in the menu display hidden files. Hidden files are not normally displayed so that files are not accidentally modified.

Everything search is a lot faster if you can download and install it.

The result that you displayed has a date of 9/9/2017.
Was the driver always installed and never uninstalled?

Is this what you installed: And did you confirm that you have net framework 4.5 installed?

    APP Center (Intel 100 series)
(Note) Support Intel 100 series motherboards (support may vary by model).
(Note) Please install Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 first before install APP Center utility.

GDRV.sys was the recurrent misbehaving driver.

The event log displays 16 minutes of server problems:

Are you able to use the computer in safe mode?
Or are you still getting bsod?

    What's happening with the server?

The App Center appears to be identical for windows 10, 8.1 and 7

So there is no roll back driver. No alternative driver was found.
