How many times have you attempted to install Adobe Reader and what has happened during each attempted installation?

What other software needs to be installed?

How many times have you attempted to install Google Chrome and what has happened during each attempted installation?

Are you able to use these browsers:
    Edge
    IE
    Firefox

What happened when you attempted to contact Gigabyte?

Have you also tried their forum?
I tried installing adobe reader 3 times.

after we did selective restart and task manager I could finish the install process without freezing, but was then told that I already have a newer version installed already....

Have no trouble using Chrome, just seems to crash/freeze when I am checking websites as I am installing software. I don't see Chrome as being an issue.

    Still need to install
    Adobe Photoshop
    Illustrator
    iTunes
my wife's auto-payment system for the school
    infranview

Nothing has happened from Gigabyte. I see the question still unanswered...
Answer: The ticket is being processed.

What is the status of windows driver verifer?

Install the remaining software programs one at a time and reboot after each one.

    including or excluding GDRV.SYS?
How long has it been running without a bsod?
If it has been more than 36 hours you can turn off windows driver verifier.
Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste: verifier /reset

Once gdrv.sys and the other software have been installed you can retest by turning on windows driver verifer and if there are no bsod for 36 hours can conclude the troubleshooting.

Later in the day I'll catch up with you as it is 2:03 AM here

no BSOD but the PC keeps locking up and shutting down. Just did it again while installing photoshop.

Adobe reader I can see the installation in C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat Reader DC but I cannot open the program, nor do I see the program available to uninstall in system...

The dashlane program does not let me log in under my current username and password. always tells me invalid credentials...

I no longer see GDVR.sys under verifier so i no longer have to exclude it anymore....

What are the BIOS 3.3, 5 and 12 voltage values?

What are the CPU voltage and frequency?

In the left lower corner search type reliability > open reliability control panel > click on columns with a red circle and white x > post last 3 images into the thread

If there are yellow triangles with black exclamation marks you can post additional images.

When you view the bios in the computer menu isn't there information displayed that has frequencies and voltages?
The other option is to measure them.
But there should be data displayed in the bios menu.

I'll check the BIOS today. Got an ineffectual response from Gigabyte today..Did you experience the crashes before adding app center? Have you tried uninstalling it, do the crashes continue....I then wrote....I have uninstalled app center, but the computer continues to freeze. Not always BSOD, just locks up and then shuts down
