BSOD when updating iTunes/Nvidia

Sorry, I tried the command prompt to get out of there fire but it won’t work. I can’t get into the desktop to run the zip right now. I’m moving on to step two with a system restore

Get out of verifier

step 3 is restore and you likely will lose the mini dump file.

step 1 is startup options>safe mode with command prompt > type:
verifier /reset
step2 is command prompt > Administrator X:\windows\system32\cmd.exe > type:
verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail
step3 is restore

Now it’s behaving the same way I did before tthe clean install If I open up a window as soon as it boots up, the system freezes. I have to sit tight for 15 to 30 seconds and that everything put up and then start using or else it’ll lock up

lets see what caused the dump.

Which step did you skip?

Which method did you use to stop windows driver verifier?

Click on the column provider so that it sorts.
When it sort all of the non-Microsoft should be on top.
Then check all non-Microsoft drivers for the testing.


Have you created a brand new restore point?
Have you downloaded and installed each bluescreenview and whocrashed?
Have you made sure that automatic restart is un-checked?
Have you reviewed the 3 methods to turn off windows driver verifier?
If you have done all of the above you can turn on windows driver verifier.

I checked all of the non microsoft items and restarted. That's when i got the BSOD. Before i ran verifier I had created a restore point. I tried to run verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail
but it kept BSOD on restart...or shutdown restart.
So I used the system restore that I created before verifier.

I have bluescreenview and whocrashed installed
