    What is the DVD?

This is the main Pc for our business and it has an autopayment program on it that we use to collect tuition from more than 200 students.... We need to make sure a) that it is backed up correctly and b) that we can reinstall it and have it run smoothly before we proceed with a windows clean install.

The WIN 10 reinstall has to be done relatively quickly as it is the PC that shares the printer with 5 other teachers that depend on it to print lesson material. It also hosts a shared folder that is vital to all teachers...

After the installation will you be able to use only English so that the event logs can be troubleshooted?
It may take a couple of days to have it display information that indicates any problems.

    See post 138 and 145
In the above zip I was not able to find a chkdsk txt

Once you indicated that you would be able to perform a clean install the best option moved to a clean install with English as the default language.
This is so the event logs can be viewed during the troubleshooting.
With a clean install with English as the default language there should be no issues with the event log.
Once you are able to run the computer without bsod and it is stable you can clean install again and use Japanese as the default language.

The aim will be to rule out all hardware and driver issues when English is the default language. Time will be needed to evaluate the hardware with stress tests, evaluate the drivers, etc.

The memtest86+ version 5.01 can be run now while it is in its current state. Testing for 8 or more passes is needed to make it a useful test.

Please use a camera or smart phone camera to take pictures of the memtest86+ results and post them into the thread.

The pc appears to be behaving better recently. No bsod. Restarts, shuts down, updates and finishes checking....

Just want to be certain I have to format and clean install. Like I said it’s pretty vital to keep it open and connected midweek for file sharing/printing.
