Can you make another clean install and this time "vanilla type" with no 3rd party drivers.

Clean installed. Looked for updates at the end of process. Once it said ďlast startĒ it tried to search for display adapters and I shut it down. Didnít go into windows update at all. Let me know how to proceed from here.

For the clean install with the Windows 10 iso it can be done with NO internet connection.
So you are in full control.
Then you can observe the computer for stability vs bsod vs freeze.
If there is no bsod and no freeze when only Windows is installed you can update Windows.
    Then stop.
Time is now needed to observe the computer environment.
It needs to be used to see if activity triggers bsod or freezes.

Should I redo the format/clean install without internet?

So that you are in full control that's the best starting point.
Then if there is no freezing when opening Edge, opening IE, rebooting, etc. then you can connect to the internet and update Windows.
    Windows will update non-Windows drivers.
Then you need time to test stability vs. bsod vs freezing.

Gigabyte's response to my detailed question.....

Answer: Where you recall which driver or utility was installed first? Please remove App Center and do not apply any utility, only just install driver first manually for the board and check for any error.Check device manager for any yellow marks to determine which drivers are needed to be apply for the board.

After my computer (speecy txt. attached) had a clean install of Windows 10 version 1703 The Gigabyte website was used to download fresh drivers. When windows driver verifier was turned on there was an immediate BSOD displaying GDRV.sys as the misbehaving driver. How do you troubleshoot this misbehaving driver? How do you specifically uninstall just this driver and if you do so does it need to be reinstalled? What is the function of this driver? Does performance suffer if this driver is not installed? If this driver needs to be installed are there other versions of this driver for my computer's configuration and operating system. If this driver is the cause of another bsod how does it get fixed?

On the Gigabyte website some of the applications/drivers had prerequisites. When you view the Speecy report have all the prerequisites been installed? Is there something else that needs to be done so that the computer environment is stable and the Gigabyte drivers do not BSOD?

How do you evaluate computer freezing that occurs when downloading many varieties of software

how would you evaluate the Gigabyte motherboard? And how do you evaluate/gauge the Gigabyte motherboard / applications /driver performance at stock and under stress?

With a fresh install of the operating system and drivers the computer frequently freezes. The GPU was swapped with another computer and the GPU card which was not problematic in the other computer cannot be stressed without freezing.

I clean installed the machine, ran prime95 and it passed, Intel stress test and it passed. FurMark failed on2 identical GPUs, however the GPUs both passed Furmark on my other PC with an ASUS motherboard...
