finally got all of these done...there were 2 at the bottom that I hadn't seen before...
Okay.
Plan
1) high performance power plan
2) submit gigabyte support request
get help with the misbehaving driver
get help with the drivers that you had uninstalled
get a detailed list of steps in sequence that they have you do so that detail is in the thread
3) download and install 1 software application at a time while using windows driver verifier
4) reboot after each installation
5) evaluate boot times and performance after each installation
6) for any hang or bsod stop installing programs and document the problem in detail.
7) sometime tomorrow please update your progress.
8) there can be some sluggishness in performance using windows driver verifer. The plan is to use it for 48 hours and monitor for bsod.
Once you change the language I may no longer be able to view the event logs.
The event logs were very important in the troubleshooting.
So please do your best to delay installing language that could potentially interfere with the event log.
gdrv had not been fixed.
Windows driver verifer was set to not test this driver.
If you were to test this driver (add it by checking the driver for the testing it should bsod as it was not fixed)
So when you contact gigabyte they need to indicate how to uninstall and reinstall the application/driver
Again please see the comments on the language and event log.
The event log has been very important in the troubleshooting.

The event viewer has been important for discovering the problems on the computer.
