Open windows driver verifier and uncheck the driver that just caused the bsod.

Then run windows diver verifer to find the next misbehaving driver.

In the meantime I will look for possible fixes.

    1) turn off windows fast startup as per the earlier post with link
    2) open file explorer > this pc > c: drive > type: gdrv.sys > use Microsoft snipping tool > post image into thread
    3) in the left lower corner search type verifier and follow the custom menu and uncheck for the testing this driver: gdrv.sys

Having the other issue pre clean install. I was migrating some files back to desktop from storage hdd, tried opening chrome and the pc just locks up. No buttons/mice/or even reset button on the tower works. Have to hold down power on the tower...finally pc shuts down after 4-5 min.

    Sam,

If you do more thing that I have no idea about that will confound the troubleshooting.
That was already done with Chrome and Office.
How come you are not waiting for my instruction?
