The zips are regularly used. All viewers especially new viewers of the forum would need the information and it would be missing. So please keep a zip in the thread.

still running memtest on the other stick, 8 passes 7h32m in with no errors. I suppose i should try this stick in the slot the other stick was in just to see if it might be an issue with the motherboard
Yes, that is the correct thing to do. The first stick should also be tested in a different slot as it might be OK, don't condemn it yet.

When the RAM/MB testing has completed:
If you need to replace RAM you will want to know whether it is single or dual channel RAM.
If you already know you still may want to confirm and that can be done using either one of these software:
If you have dual channel you will want to make sure it matches:
    CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID
    HWiNFO - Download

The memtest completed 12 passes after i placed the working stick into the other slot. So it's pretty safe to say the other stick is the reason for the issue?

Yes, I'd say so. You can verify by testing the other stick in a different slot. The errors showed up pretty quick so it should be a quick test!

Then try running you PC on the one good memory to verify that there are no more BSODs.

Please use a camera or smart phone camera to take pictures of the Memtest86+ results and post images into the thread.
