There were multiple bsod mini dump files debugged.
They displayed again the WHEA 124 error.
In addition there were multiple misbehaving drivers.
After the fresh install there were numerous entries for Windows error reporting.
One was USB device enumeration failure. The significance of this is unclear to me and if anyone had troubleshooted this before please comment.

    1) Update or reinstall the chipset drivers.
    2) The best way to fix the misbehaving Nvidia driver is to uninstall everything Nvidia using Display driver uninstaller and install new drivers from the Nvidia website.
When using the Nvidia web site be sure the "clean install" box is checked and only install the graphics driver and the physx driver.

Display Driver Uninstaller: How to use - Windows 7 Help Forums[2]=Hardware%20and%20Drivershttp://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

    3) Uninstall all Norton and Symantic products using control panel and the software manufacturer uninstall tools.
    Uninstall Symantec Endpoint Protection
Uninstall and Reinstall Norton product using the Norton Remove and Reinstall tool

    4) Turn on windows defender

    5) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 runs.
It is best to test dual channel RAM with 2 RAM at the same time.
If it is single channel RAM then you can test 1 RAM at a time.
To check the RAM please download and install either CPU-Z or HWINFO
    CPU-Z | Softwares | CPUID
    HWiNFO - Download
There is 64 GB of RAM on the computer so test 32 GB at a time if it is dual channel.
It may take 1 - 2 hours / GB of RAM so plan to perform the testing when there is significant time to make 8 or more passes.
If the time period to test 32 GB of RAM is too long then you can test 16 GB in the same DIMM but you will not have the benefit of checking the dual channel.
There are significant false negatives if less than 8 passes are made so those tests then need to be repeated.
A false negative is when the testing indicates that the RAM passes and the RAM malfunctions.
During the RAM testing 1 error is a fail. So if you see 1 error you can abort testing and then test 1 RAM at a time in the same DIMM.
After each test please use a camera or smart phone camera to take a picture and post the image into the thread.

The two crashes are again hardware x124 errors. The errors are the same and are both on proc 2 bank 0.

    Code:
    Error Type : Micro-Architectural Error
    Error : Unknown (Proc 2 Bank 0)
Contact Intel and see what they say - they may send a replacement CPU to try. There is also the Intel CPU diagnostic tool you can try.

Given that it behaved fine until the last few drivers were installed can you undo those final drivers and roll them back?

According the eventlog the last drivers to be updated before the first BSOD were:
    Attachment 147047
    Attachment 147048

You stated in your opening post that you changed your CPU and this started. What CPU did you have in this X299 motherboard before and what was your experience with it?

If you have any Gigabyte utilities installed, please uninstall every one of them.

How does it run on a clean install with no drivers other than what Windows Update installs?

I had the I7-7800x installed before and it never crashed, I didn't get crashes until I put in the 7820x.

It never crashed on the clean install with no drivers installed. The first time it crashed was after most of the drivers were installed. It crashed the first time while I was reinstalling Norton Security.

Are you sure there at no bent CPU pins?

Would you be willing to do a clean install and let Windows Update install the drivers and try it that way for a while.? If you do that and get no crashes, it should indicate that it is not a hardware problem, it is a driver problem. Then we can try to narrow down which driver it is.

Norton is a known cause of BSODs for some peoples rig. It doesn't bother some people but does others. The same with Gigabyte Utilities, at least in the previous chipsets.

I see the same WHEA MAchine check and iaStore errors as before. Also, I see this:

Original Install Date: 7/28/2017, 1:04:33 PM

When did you do the new install and was it a clean install, with format? You posted on the 4th but there are no dumps newer than the 2nd which explains why I'm not seeing anything different.

Hey I just made a user on tenforums to tell that I have the exact same problem,

I'm running I7 7820x, on the exact same motherboard x299 "Raider", and are experiencing the same problems as CALHAWK2000
The first bsod happened for me immediately after i installed the motherboard drivers from MSI's official site, and tried to run my newly installed music operation software.

What i have done so far to solve the problem,

I noticed that the bsod's I started to receive, had different "stopcodes" which didn't make any sense for me, but im not really an expert in computers, so i started to google the different stopcodes, which was a big jungle of different statements.

So i started to reverse all the updates one by one, which did not help, so i could then state that the drivers might not be the issue, and though I might have some hardware failures. I tried to test all the hardware with different software's, prime95 for 2 hours, with no failures, the core temps didn't rise higher than 60c. I then tried with the windows memory diagnostic tool, and it did not find any errors.

So i started to try different kind of sound, already rendered sound, vs real time rendered sound, and came to the conclusion, I only get the bsod's when I used real time rendered sound generators. in my case all my Software Synthesizers "which are instruments" that generate sound in realtime, caused bsod in around 10 - 15s of operation.

I then though it might be my audio drivers, and tried 3 different ones, and all 3 caused the exact same problem, and i had already stated that the CPU or the Memory, was perhaps not the problem, and my harddrives was taken directly off a fully working pc.

So i tried to update the bios to the newest update, which didn't do any difference for me, and I though my last chance of fixing the problem might be something bios related, I tried to reset all the bios settings to default, which still did not help with my problem.

So i then again tried to open up my music operation software, and tried to look at the core speed, and then noticed that it was spiking, going from 3.7 ghz to 4.4 very rapidly, and though maybe this had something to do with intel turbo boost.
"I dont even know what intel turbo boost is"

I then tried to turn off turbo boost, and for some reason, I do not get any bsod anymore.

I guess this is not really a viable fix, but at least better than nothing, and it would be nice to see if this fixes your complications aswell, to state that the combination of this motherboard and CPU might have some difficulties ?

I am sorry if something i said sounded completely retarded, because I have nearly no clue what I'm talking about.

    1) Are your files backed up?
    2) Have you made an image of the drive using Macrium?
    3) What feedback have you gotten from contacting Intel support?
    4) Are you able to make a clean install (deleting partitions, formatting drive, making an unallocated drive, installing a new version of Windows 1703 using a bootable Windows 10 iso)
    5) please post an updated zip.

@CALHAWK2000 and @troelsh, I was reading and found some information saying that some of the Gigabyte boards have an issue with the VCCIN in BIOS that affected stability. The supposed solution was to enable LLC. I have no idea if this will work or if this is your problem, but it may be worth a try.
