BSOD/ Random Stops after CPU upgrade

    Run HDTune: http://www.hdtune.com/

    to check the health,scan for errors, no quick scan but full scanrun a benchmark.

    It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.

    When above is done please make screenshots of the following:
    the health,
    the error scan,
    the benchmark including the following:
    transfer rate,
    access time,
    burst rate,
    cpu usage.

    Run Sea tools for windows on your drive using SMART, short and long generic tests:

    When the above drive tests have been completed with images in the thread please open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste: chkdsk /x /f /r (this may take many hours so plan to run it overnight)When chkdsk has completed please find the results and post into the thread.

    1) Have there been any bsod?

    2) Please post an updated zip: BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums

    The deeper chkdsk scan reported: Correcting errors in the Volume Bitmap.
    So far memory and drives OK.

    3) Choose one of the temperature monitoring software applications: Speecy, HW monitor, Speed fan:

    HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID: HWMONITOR | Softwares | CPUID

    SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer: SpeedFan - Access temperature sensor in your computer

    4) download and install the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool
    When the test completes please use the Microsoft snipping tool to post an image into the thread.

    5) Please create a brand new restore point
    6) post chkdsk repair please update the Macrium image.

    7) Run Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU

    Please use the Microsoft snipping tool to post images into the thread.

    8) Run FurMark - GPU Stress Test Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

    Please make note of the importance of temperature monitoring and aborting the test in the GPU link.

    All of these test should be done with the bios reset and no over clocking.

    9) For each of the above tests please record maximum temperatures.
    10) please report the duration of testing.

    And please make sure that you use the Microsoft snipping tool to post images of each into the thread.
