BSOD within 30 minutes of computer start up every time

    Hi Guys,

So basically I built a new PC, and I have had various BSOD's within 10-30 minutes of starting it up not matter what the computer is doing. I can start it up, walk away and come back and it has BSODed or I can be playing a game. However, if i restart the computer right after initial start up I get no BSODs at all.

I have attached the file as instructed. I think I fixed the first two BSOD problems, the service exception I am having a bit of an issue figuring out though and would appreciate any help.

    System:
    7900x
    Gigabyte Gaming 9
64 Gigs of Corsair Vengeance RGB
    2x 1080TI
    One m.2 ssd,, 2 sata ssd's and 3 sata HDD's
    Attachment 143920
    Thanks!

    Hi shmaded ,

There were 6 bsod files. When debugged they indicated multiple misbehaving drivers.
There were problems with the drives including corruption and bad blocks.

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:

    1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

    2) sfc /scannow

    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread

    4) perform windows updates and post any failed KB# and error code into the thread

    5) using administrative command prompt run chkdsk /x /r on your drives (this may take many hours so plan to run overnight

    6) run one of the SMART tests on your drives:CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World: CrystalDiskMark - Software - Crystal Dew World
    Software - Crystal Dew World
    HD Tune: http://www.hdtune.com/
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring: Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring

When the SMART test has completed open the Microsoft snipping tool and make images of the results to post into the thread.

    7) Run Sea tools for windows on your drive using SMART, short and long generic tests:

How to use SeaTools for Windows

    8) Run memtest86+ version 5.01 for at least 8 runs. This may take many hours so plan to run it overnight.Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool
When Memtest86+ has completed 8 or more runs make an image of the results to post into the thread.

    9) uninstall: Acronis Virtual Disk Storage Filter using device manager
make sure the driver: vsflt53.sys is uninstalled
    reinstall: Customer Service and Support

    10) uninstall: Samsung RAPID Mode Disk Filter driver using device manager
make sure the driver samsungrapiddiskfltr.sys is uninstalled
reinstall: Samsung Download Center: Owner's Manuals, Firmware Updates & Drivers | Samsung US

    11) uninstall: Intel RST Rapid Storage Technology driver iaStorA.sys using control panel
reinstall: Downloads for IntelĀ® Rapid Storage Technology (IntelĀ® RST)

I may get fussed at but do you know what AutoTune is and can you turn it off? Others can read dump files much better than I plus the fact Windbg does not seem to be picking up symbols correctly but it is mentioned in all your dump files.

It may be some driver associated with that process but I have seen Motherboard OEM utilities which have caused problems in the past.

AutoTune belongs to GIGABYTE EasyTune. I see AutoTune.exe in 3/5 dumps as main process. It is not impossible to rule out the EasyTune is responsible. And its known that EasyTune can cause bluescreens because of its intrusive overclocking functionalities.

But like @zbook wrote, main problem is the disk or something with the disk configuration.

You should backup your data NOW. Eventlog shows corruption AND data loss!!!

    Hi Guys,

Thank for all the advice and help. After going though all the steps I was still having issues with drivers and whatnot. So instead of beating my head against the wall forever I just got a new M.2 drive and did a clean install of everything. Now, no more issues.

    Thanks for everything though!
