    Frequent VIDEO_TDR_ERROR BSODs

    Hey guys.

For the past 3 days I've been getting very frequent TDR BSODs. I haven't messed around with the GPU drivers since my last thread. In fact since my last thread everything was fine.. until 3 days ago. :/ dump extractions below.

    Hi IoNGeNeRaL,

There seems to be a lot of corruption in the file system which may indirectly be related to the 0x116

I don't have Windows installation on my K: drive. I do however have Microsoft Visual C++ on it. There does appear to be a Windows folder on it also with "3,643 Files, 158 Folders".. but when I open it it's empty.

I did the steps axe mentioned. Memory diagnostic has no issues. Screenshots below.

I am yet to do a chkdsk but whenever I do (even with sfc /scannow) it doesn't say anything is wrong with the system integrity.

Also on my desktop hard drive (last screenshot) the temperature is not that high. It's at a cool temperature as it sits on my desk.

Back up all of your files.
Create an image of your drives using Macrium or other imaging software.
Macrium Software | Macrium Reflect Free
    Create a restore point.

The integrity of the operating system can be checked using administrative command prompt and typing or copy and pasting these commands:

    1) sfc /scannow
    2) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Please report the results of scannow and restorehealth into the thread.

The chkdsk with the switch that axe0 ordered will take many hours. Plan to run it overnight.
To find the results in the eventvwr see these links:

@zbook, multiple links for chkdsk isn't necessary :)
The only important link is the one that explains how to access the log and how to provide it, see below link.

That appears to only be chkdsk by the speed.
The chkdsk /r will take many hours.
Was that with or without the /r switch?

    That was event 1001.
The event that you will want to check is 26226 after chkdsk /r has completed.

I haven't the time to do the chkdsk /r tonight. I'll do it tomorrow.

EDIT: As predicted; sfc /scannow reports no integrity violations.
