    For antivirus:
Run windows defender in full setting.
Then run windows defender in offline setting. (It checks for malware during the boot.)
    Run https://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/tdsskiller
    Run Malwarebytes.

Make some baseline testing on your computer. If dell has UEFI diagnostics in the bios run them.
Run one of these SMART studies on your drive and post images into the thread:
CrystalDiskInfo - Software - Crystal Dew World
    http://www.hdtune.com/
Hard Disk Sentinel - HDD health and temperature monitoring
And if possible run Sea tools for windows on your drive in SMART, short, and long generic:

Sorry for not following up but once again I have this problem with my laptop. It does not boot anymore since Friday.
    It refuses to boot.
I used your method with registry which I learned by heart and it is not working anymore.
I checked the c:\Windows\system32\config\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt twice after so many attempts to boot on Friday. I have "a recent driver installation or upgrade may be preventing the system from starting"
    Repair action : System restore
    result : cancelled
    at least twice.
Repair action: System files integrity check and repair
    result : failed . Error code : 0x490
I do not know what to do but I am thinking of trying Easy Recovery essentials Easy Recovery Essentials by NeoSmart Technologies
I am open to suggestions ))

Using the F12 key can you boot using the bootable windows 10 iso?

You can also make a bootable recovery disk

Sorry for the extreme late reply. between sickness and broken laptop , it is one hell of a week.
Now , I downloaded Easy Re and used it earlier this week only to make things worse.
Suddenly C:/ seemed to be empty , no windows directory or anything.
In an attempt to fix things , I downloaded Lazesoft Recovery suite , the Reymond post you posted above recommended it. It did not fix anything either but through its file browser , I found out that my windows directory along my program files as well all that under the c:/ directory moved either to the E:/ or F:/ directory.
Anyhow I managed to restore the windows directory to its original place under the C :/
While the EFI directory is now under the E:/
The error message I got now without running the Windows 10 recovery boot is
The application or operating system could not be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors.
    File :\Windows\System32\Winload.efi
    Error code : 0x000000e
You need to use recovery tools ....etc.
The Winload.efi exists under the Windows\System32
The recovery tools on the laptop disappeared , I can not do a reset your pc or system restoration.
I can access the recovery tools on window10 recovery but again no reset option , system restoration is no use.
    Currently working on cmd
using command prompt from Win 10 recovery usb and disk part I found that I can not find the System reserved volume as I tried to follow those steps here FIX: Steps to Fix Winload.EFI Error - Appuals.com
I only have found the Windows volume , the EFI volume and the Winretool volume besides the usb.

    The wintretool directory is empty

The partitions are all primary when I checked them.

I do not know what do next !!

    1) After the registry repair were you able to backup the files or make an image?
    2) Were you able to check the drive with one of the SMART tests?
    3) What happens now when you boot without anything connected via USB?
    4) What happens when you boot to the USB with windows 10 iso?
    5) Which bootable windows 10 iso advanced recovery options have you tried and what were the results for each?
    6) Did you consider a second registry repair?

Sorry for the extreme late reply , between work and travel did not have chance to reply but I gave a try for a number of things.
I still got that BSOD screen with 0xc000000e error. The srttrail.txt still says that a new installation or upgrade is the reason.
-Yes , I was able to backup the files in to an external harddrive but did not get a chance to make an image
-I have not tried SMART, I will try it.
    - Well the BSOD screen with 0xc000000e meets me , no more recovery or reset options, F8 options do not work.
    - I got in to the usual Windows 10 USB dialogue then to the Windows recovery options.
    - I tried the windows restore it did not work and now it says I got no restore points which untrue as after the first crash I made one.
The reset option has disappeared from the dialogue already. I do not see it it.
    - I tried the second registry repair this week and it did not work
I tried also Macruim reflect media usb and its boot fix , it did not work. But I will give it another try today.
FYI , I searched more in the drive and drivers using cmd.
I tried to find the latest drivers installed using driverquery in cmd and amazingly I found strange dates including 2095 !!!
Also while checking the drives, I can't find the System Restore drive but I found the WINREtools and the EFI , they are both got letters.
Now I wish to have that reset option before a clean install.

Well I followed the method you told me about the first time that helped me to boot, "copy *.* ..

I tired also to repair the registry using Scanreg /fix but it did not and the cmd gave me an error msg that this command does not exit.

I had a s.m.a.r.t scan and the result that the c drive was okay.

I am thinking of trying the bootsect command with nt60 command , what do you think !?
