BSOD after about 10 minutes of playing high demanding games

    Hi everyone.

As it's my first post on this forum, I would like to say thanks to everyone of you who tried and help strangers on the internet with their computer problems. Really, thank you.

    My problem :

I build this new rig 1 month ago and didnt notice problems at first. I was mostly playing CS GO and Skyrim and didn't run into any problems (maybe one or twice, but I didnt mind it.). I tried playing newer games 1 week ago, like Metro 2033 Redux and The Witcher 3. That's when the problems began.

After playing 5 to 10 minutes of one of those newer game, I get a BSOD. The most frequent one is "Memory Management", but I also got "IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" and "critical structure corruption". I tried to look into it, but because of my not great computer knowledge, I mostly searched on google on a way to fix it. Here's what I tried so far :

    - Memtest x86 (no errors)
    - Windows Memory Diagnostic (no errors)
    - Tried one stick of RAM at the time, and on different channels (Didn't work).
    - Reinstall windows and every drivers (worked shortly but after 15 min had the "critical structure corruption error" and the memory management later).
    - Put default or auto to everything in my bios (didnt help)

I'm out of solutions right now and I'm really close to going to computer shop near my place to see if someone could fix or at least see the problem that I'm having.

    My rig :

    • Motherboard: ASRock AB350 Pro4
    • CPU: HexaCore AMD Ryzen 5 1600
    • Memory: 2x8 gb Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2400C16 ( DDR4-2400 DDR4 SDRAM )
    • GPU: Zotac GTX1070
    • Operating System : Microsoft Windows 10 Home 10.0.15063.413 (Win10 RS2)

I'm leaving my log as instructed in the attachments and will gladly offer any information that you guys need to help me solve this issue (if fixable).

    thanks for the help

Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste: chkdsk /x /f /r
    This may take many hours.
    Perform this over night.
    Perform the chkdsk first.
Perform the mem test next and post an image into the thread

Check the status of your drive with: Crystal Disk, HD sentinel or HD tune for SMART testing. Please post images into the thread. And use Sea Tools for windows for SMART, short and long generic testing.

I ran chkdsk /x /f /r but it only ran for 10 minutes and it was done. I believe it did the scan on my SSD where my OS is installed, should I do on my HD where I install my games?

Also I did the memtest overnight and I had no errors. I dont know where I can find the report of memtest on my computer. I will try the status of my driver and will come back later

For the memtest how many runs were there?
Have there been any new bsod?
Run chkdsk /x /f /r on all of your drives.
When chkdsk has completed post a report from the eventvwr:

I tried my game and had a BSOD IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL followed by 4 BSOD memory management when I was restarting my computer. Im currently writing this post right now in safe mode.

EDIT : I also ran Memtest 7 times.

EDIT 2 : I add the 2 reports as .txt files to be easier to read.

Were you able to make 8 runs using Memtest86+ before a bsod? If not how many runs were made?
What tests have you been able to and not been able to complete due to bsod?

For every dump please update or post a new zip file.

    When back on the desktop:
Open administrative command prompt and type or copy and paste:
    1) msconfig (in the pop up system configuration > move the dot from normal startup to selective startup > uncheck load startup items > click service tab > in left lower corner check hide all Microsoft services > in the lower right side click disable all > click apply or ok > do not reboot)

    2) taskmgr (in the pop up task manager > click on the start up tab > click on status so that the column sorts with enable rising to the top > right click on each row with enable and change to disable)

    3) shutdown /r (you will reboot the computer so that it is in clean boot)

    4) Let's see if you have more, fewer, or the same number of bsod when in clean boot.

If the bsod are more frequent then return to safe mode.

After leaving my computer alone for some time (more than 1h) it seems to stop giving me memory management BSOD. I tried the game to see if it was working and got another BSOD (IRQ_NOT...) and multiple memory management BSOD after it too.

My BSOD log are attached to this reply.

Im wondering if its maybe a wiring issue, as its my first computer Ive build ever. I looked inside my case and all fans seems to be working fine, which makes me believe thats its not a over heating issue (I guess?).\

Also, I did 7 runs of Memtest, no BSOD. No test seemed to be interfered with a BSOD. Its only happening when playing high res games.
