    GSOD Installing Update

I am on the Insider program, and lately while trying to install the latest build, it gets to about 75% of the "Installing updates" screen before I get a Green Screen of Death with a message of "CRITICAL STRUCTURE CORRUPTION". I've also gotten this a couple other times, but installing updates is the only way I can easily reproduce the problem. I've attached the relevant info per the how to post here.

Since its difficult to debug from a insider preview the only thing I found is "dxgmms". That means there could be Problems with the GPU driver. May Windows Update try to install the driver via update function. This is the time it crashes. Please update the driver from the manufacturer site.

Its also recommended to run a memtest to check the RAM:

    Note   Note
MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

Thanks for the info. I'll install the latest graphics driver and see if I can dig up a USB drive for memtest tonight.

Which antivirus software programs are you using on startup? Windows defender, Avast?

ah u want to know if defender is active? Normally u can look at drivers.txt, there u can see if stopped or not. In services.txt u can see if stopped or not too. But u are right, the Windows Defender Security Center Service is running. But dont ask me why.
