    BSOD Playing PUBG, Win 10: 0x61941 ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x14EC00)

    I recently upgraded to:

    Motherboard: MSI B350 Tomahawk
    Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3200 DC 16GB Hynix (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16)
    CPU: Ryzen 1700

    I've had XMP profile 2 on, which should run the memory on 3200 mhz, if i understood that correctly. That's how it was set up when i got my first BSOD, then i put it to profile 1, which is below 3000. And after the BSOD that followed that change, i turned XMP off completely. But i'm still getting BSOD.

    So far i've only been playing Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, so i don't know if it happens in other games aswell.

    Edit:

    Solution: Ran "Fresh Start" on Windows 10 to remove all the old drivers and misc.

    Dumps show your memory speed is 2133:
    Code:
    [Memory Device (Type 17) - Length 40 - Handle 0036h]
      Physical Memory Array Handle  0028h
      Memory Error Info Handle      0035h
      Total Width                   64 bits
      Data Width                    64 bits
      Size                          8192MB
      Form Factor                   09h - DIMM
      Device Set                    [None]
      Device Locator                DIMM 1
      Bank Locator                  CHANNEL B
      Memory Type 1ah - Specification Reserved
      Type Detail                   4080h - Synchronous
      Speed                         2133MHz
      Manufacturer                  Unknown
      Serial Number
      Asset Tag Number [String Not Specified]
      Part Number                   CMK16GX4M2B3200C16
    I suggest putting it back to Profile 2 and removing half the ram and testing. Swap installed/removed ram if still BSOD. If removing one of them gets rid of the problem then RMA the ram for a replacem,ent.

    Yeah that's what the ram is set to by default, so isn't that how it's supposed to be? and the Ram is only a few days old, could it really already be faulty?

    Try running the CPU and GPU stress tests:
    ===================================================
    Follow this tutorial to stress test your CPU:
    Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU - Windows 10 Forums

    ===================================================
    Follow this tutorials to stress test your GPU:
    FurMark - GPU Stress Test - Windows 10 Forums

    If you have a AMD APU instead of a discreet GPU, try UNIGINE 3D Benchmark..

    If those tests don't show anything then give Driver Verifier a try:
    ===================================================
    Driver Verifier
    is a diagnostic tool built into Windows 10, it is designed to verify both native Microsoft drivers and third party drivers. Driver Verifier's verification process involves putting heavy stress on drivers with the intention of making bad, outdated, incompatible or misbehaving drivers fail. The required result is a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) which will generate a crash dump for debugging purposes.
    Machines exposed to Driver Verifier will run very sluggishly due to the stress being applied to the drivers.

    Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable in Windows 10

    Pay close attention to PART TWO and make sure the correct boxes are checked.

    Warning:
    It is not advised to run Driver Verifier for more than 48 hours at a time. Disable Driver Verifier after 48 hours or after receiving a BSOD, whichever happens soonest.

    Always create a Restore Point prior to enabling Driver Verifier.

    What we're looking for is a verifier generated BSOD with a mini dump that will tell us what driver caused it. If you get a BSOD, rerun dm_log_collector and upload the resulting zip file.

    Just incase anyone in the future could use this info: I had to update the Geforce Experience software, even though i had all drivers updated. Not sure why this was important, but i havent had a crash for a few days now.

    I think the issue is that my RAM is not on the compatibility list for MSI 350 Tomahawk, so i cannot run a stable XMP profile on it.

    I'm gonna buy different ram and report back if that fixes the issue.

    That's a good possibility. Good luck, hope that fixes it.
