BSOD When Browsing On Chrome "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL"

I commonly get a BSOD when browsing on Chrome, I typically see the same message as stated in the Thread Title. But I think I have also seen another saying something about "DRIVER_INVALID_STACK_ACCESS".

BSOD occurs quite frequently, seems that it mostly happens while on Chrome, but it also may have happened once before while the computer was idling with no other programs open.

I've attached the log files collected from my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much!

    Hi Peopleface,

It seems many dumps are missing.
If you are using a program like Ccleaner please stop using it while troubleshooting.Programs like Ccleaner remove dump files that are needed to troubleshoot.Or configure Ccleaner to not remove dump files:

    Thanks for the advice!

I reconfigured Ccleaner to keep dump files and error reports.

I have had the issue happen twice since then. Hopefully, the new log will have everything you need to diagnose.

    Diagnostic Test

     DRIVER VERIFIER

    warning   Warning
Please make a backup of your important files and get your rescue media or create one.
    Please create a restore point.

Please follow this tutorial to run driver verifier.

Driver verifier stresses your drivers and will crash your pc if any driver fails due to a violation.

Driver verifier should be performed for a max of 48 hours, or when you have a bluescreen, whatever comes first.

If driver verifier has found a violation and you can't get back into windows normally, try to boot into safe mode and reset in safe mode driver verifier, or in the troubleshooting options open command prompt and type verifier /reset.

    Note   Note
Your system will act very sluggishly while driver verifier is enabled, this is normal as your drivers will be being subjected to heavy testing in order to make them crash.

Please fill in your system specs
Please follow this tutorial and download the tool. The tool will give you detailed information about your system specs, please fill in your system specs more completely including PSU, cooling and other used stuff like mouse, keyboard, monitor, case, etc.
The PSU, cooling and other stuff are NOT mentioned in the tool.

In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'. After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.

Sorry for the delay, I am now running the DRIVER VERIFIER, and I will report back after the 48 hour period.

I was not able to update system specs as every time I tried to access that page, it would ask for my login and say that it was invalid, therefore not letting me update my system info using the supplied tool.

In the time period sine my last response (5/24), I have seen the following BSOD errors as well...

    "DRIVER OVERRUN STACK BUFFER"
    "K MODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED"
    "ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY"

I will report back after running the DRIVER VERIFIER tool.

    Thanks for the help!

    Perform steps 1 > 7 now.
Hold use of WIndows driver verifier and resume after these steps.
For any bsod that have occurred please post a new zip file: BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums

    1) winver (in the pop up about windows > view your windows version and build > type this information into the thread)

    2) sfc /scannow

    3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on copy > paste into the thread

    4) chkdsk /x /r (this may take many hours so plan to run overnight)

I first ran driver verifier first before zbook's response for about 48hrs, had some glitchiness in Chrome where blocks of the window went to black but no BSOD.

    Then starting with zbook's suggestions...

Version 1703 (OS Build 15063.413)Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.15063](c) 2017 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.C:\WINDOWS\system32>sfc /scannowBeginning system scan. This process will take some time.Beginning verification phase of system scan.Verification 100% complete.Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.C:\WINDOWS\system32>dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealthDeployment Image Servicing and Management toolVersion: 10.0.15063.0Image Version: 10.0.15063.0[==========================100.0%==========================] The restore operation completed successfully. The operation completed successfully.C:\WINDOWS\system32>

I then ran check disk, about 3 hours later it sat at 100% for about 5hrs and never restarted. I restarted anyways.

Here is the smart test image.

I didn't run sea tools, I have an Intel SSD that has an Intel utility. Should I run the full diagnostic scan using the Intel utility?

I turned off windows fast startup. And did everything as told, (I think) in reinstalling the AMD software and drivers.

Where should I go from here?

Again, I appreciate all your help!

Can you re-post the crystal disk using version 7.0.5
    Software - Crystal Dew World
    CrystalDiskInfo

    A HDD/SSD utility software which supports S.M.A.R.T. and a part of USB-HDD.

The Sea tools is not needed as it is a SSS drive.

Were you able to run chkdsk /x /r?
    Please post the results:

This is the message I get when trying to run chkdsk in command prompt as administrator....

Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.15063](c) 2017 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved.C:\WINDOWS\system32>chkdsk /x /rThe type of the file system is NTFS.Cannot lock current drive.Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by anotherprocess. Would you like to schedule this volume to bechecked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)

I ran it previously on the system restart and I got the results I listed above, in my previous reply.
