    2 BSOD's - latest ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY


    I had one BSOD yesterday and I thought it would be a one off - but today I've had another with ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY.

    I've attached the files which were generated from dm_log_collector. Since the latest I've updated my graphic driver again.

Usual causes:  System service, Device driver, graphics driver, ?memory

    Please uninstall avast for testing:
    Avast Avast Uninstall Utility | Download aswClear for Avast Removal

    U should also uninstall Asus AI Suite, its known for causing bluescreens

    After that u should also do an memory check, there are indices that the bluescreens could be caused by defective RAM:

    MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.
