    BSOD when playing certain games

I get BSOD's when playing certain games; Deus Ex Mankind Divided, Civilization VI, and Witcher 3. However, I don't get BSOD's when playing Crysis 3, or Call of Duty Infinite Warfare. The driver that's causing it is Hal.dll. My PSU is new, and I ran the windows memory test and it reported no errors. I'm at a loss. Crash file is attached.

Seems to be a Hardware Failure:

    0x00000124: WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (26.02.2017 21:46:36) [Windows 10]
    CAUSED BY: GenuineIntel [16.07.2016]
    WHEA Notify: Machine Check Exception
         Type: Micro-Architectural Error
Error: Internal unclassified (Proc 3 Bank 4)
    PROCESS: CivilizationVI.exe
Usual causes: Hardware, Incompatibility, May be driver corruption
Do u have your games on different Harddisks? Or maybe Steam Client is on another Harddisk, but the Game is on C:
This could explain why some games get no BSOD.

My games were/are on the same hard drive. Which piece of hardware could it be? My drivers seem to be up to date.

Follow the chkdsk instructions properly, using chkdsk only (without parameter) or through Windows Explorer won't help fix any problem...

I had hoped chkdsk would do more than deleting redundant security descriptors

I recommend to replace the 500GB HDD.
