    BSOD when playing GTA 5

I've been playing GTA 5 recently, and for the last few weeks, have had semi-persistent bluescreens while playing. Attached is the DM Log Collector file for my system.

If someone could please take a look at this, it would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hello Quackz :)

There is only one crash dump in the logs and there is not a lot to go on in the analysis. Memory corruption is suggested but this can be caused by a number of things including bad drivers or memory. There are no drivers highlighted and all yours look up to date.

You are running some software that has been known to trigger BSOD events: try uninstalling MSI afterburner and see if it makes a difference.

It would also be worth running a memory check to rule out this possibility.

    Diagnostic Test

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Just uninstalled Afterburner now. I'll run memtest tonight as well. I ran it before without it throwing an error, but only for 2 passes.

    Code:
    0x0000001E: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (5.02.2017 05:53:28) [Windows 10]

    CAUSED BY: memory_corruption
                   USBPORT.SYS [16.07.2016] * USB 1.1 & 2.0 Port Driver

    PROCESS: GTA5.exe

Usual causes: Device driver, hardware, System service, compatibility, Remote control programs, memory, BIOS
I see u did run it with 2 passes. Please run it for min 8 passes (over night or so).

For further analysis we need more dumps.
