BSOD each 1 to 120 minutes, error 0x00000124

Hello, I am experiencing since yesterday some BSOD. This computer is not old (~6 month old) and it have been working fine since then. I've been experiencing two isolated BSOD in 6 months, and since yesterday, I've got arround 10 of them, and counting.

It always seems to be the same problem, sometimes not even letting me get in my user interface, getting me a BSOD before I could even type my password... Sometimes I can even get 1 to 2 hours without getting anything, while I can get 2 or 3 inside 5 minutes.

    Here's what I've tried so far :

    • Formating windows 10 while keeping personal files
    • Running a furmark test for my video card (I'm using a GTX 970 and it seemed not to overheat)
    • Replugging all my cables, tried to plug the computer straight into the wall plug instead of my adapter

    EDIT:

Since the problem have been pursuing, I installed an alternate computer and started a vanilla format. Now waiting for the resetting to finish for further update.

Hello and welcome to TenForums :)

The crash analysis points to hardware failure. It is not clear what the cause is, it could be the processor since the Machine Check Exception points to a Micro-Architectural error. Make sure you are not overclocking your system and keep all BIOS settings to their default values

My recommendation is to continue with your hardware checks, do a CPU test using Prime95 and also a memory test. The information below will help will these.

     CPU TEST

Run Prime95 to stress test your CPU. Prime95 - Stress Test Your CPU - Windows 10 Forums

    warning   Warning
Your CPU temperatures will rise quickly while under this stress test. Keep a keen eye on them and abort the test if overheating occurs.

     RAM TEST

Run MemTest86+ to analyse your RAM. MemTest86+ - Test RAM - Windows 10 Forums

    Note   Note

MemTest86+ needs to be run for at least 8 complete passes for conclusive results. Set it running before you go to bed and leave it overnight. We're looking for zero errors here. Even a single error will indicate RAM failure.

Make a photo of the result and post it.

    Addition:
If errors show up you can stop the test, remove all sticks but 1 and test this single stick in each slot for 8 passes or until errors show, switch sticks and repeat.
