The hangs when both video cards are plugged in suggests a possible power supply problem? Could the two cards be drawing too much for the PSU you currently have? Just a guess on my part, I have no facts to back it up. What PSU do you have?
Can you remove
2. a 7 port "Plugable USB" hub
3. Creative speakers
and run that way for awhile, see if it makes any difference.
Do you use wireless mouse and/or keyboard? If so, try wired?
The Desktop has a Corsair TX850W (850 Watts) PSU - It was overkill for the power estimate but I wanted to run cooler than if it was closer to 100% usage. I can't find my power estimate from the build design, sorry.

I used the USB to bring the connection closed enough for the wired input devices - since I have four monitor running the Central Unit is a bit far.

I forgot another detail, I don't know if you noticed but when I ran the test with both Graphics card plugged in, the second card on the test was NOT running monitors. The monitors were not plugged into it. meaning the second card was only running its fan and not using any more power.
I found an old thread here (I posted it in the attached Word Document), along with other checks I did in the Task Scheduler.
So far I have NO idea where to start digging.
I can see where the freeze occurs in the event viewer log but there is no indication of a cause.
Since this is fairly repeatable, try using Clean Boot, see if that gets rid of the freeze. If so then it will be a process of elimination to find the culprit.

I did steps 1 through 7, I thought it was funny that I did not get the message to tell me I needed to restart the machine for the changes to take effect. So I open the menu for tasks clicked on the power icon and clicked on "restart," the machine froze immediately, forcing a hardboot. After the shutdown I restarted it, went back to "msconfig" and rechecked all the settings and saw I had to unclick the box in the first step and did that. Everything else was good. I clicked on restart again, using the same steps I did previously.....the machine proceeded on the restart, however, it has been on restart for about 20 minutes now, it seems to be on an infinite loop on restart. It never gets there.
Any suggestions?

Boot a Windows 10 installation DVD or flash drive to get to Safe Mode then recheck all the settings you changed. If nothing there then try a System Restore.

Thanks Ztrucker, Since I did not have an W10 ISO, I restarted the desktop and pressed Windows+L, repeatedly trying to catch the signing window; eventually I did, which gave me the window for fixes. There I chose an earlier register point I saved on 1/19/17 and restarted normally (although I lost all the data I have been sending you.
I have created an ISO copy of Windows 10 and reloaded it as a refresh hoping this reload would fix the glitch...no joy. This version made my machine freeze almost immediately after getting to the home screen. It runs on one graphic card just fine though (this is where I am writing you from).
Attached please find today's collection of data, although I don't think there is a minidump.
Another curious issue that happened is, my machine hung up. I noticed my memory was maxed to 100% usage (16GB). I opened the Task Manager...no help though it was not responding. I waited to see if it would BSOD but it didn't. after waiting an interminable amount of time memory usage started going down and saw that JAVA had launched itself, it looked like hundreds of times. I have attached what I was able to capture with my phone.
I don't have any new ideaas.

Not sure if it's important or not, probably not when the problem seems to be tied to the video cards and active displays.
It seems to me Windows 10 is honked-up and can not handle 4 monitors. I mean, I have loaded Windows 10 twice now, two different ways.
Would it help if I purchased a single graphic card that can sustain 4 monitors and avoid all these problems?
May be it would solve my current freeze-up problem?
Then if there are other software issues I can work those separately.
I don't know. Hate ti see you spend the money then find it still doesn't work right. I guess as long as you can return it it's worth trying, but Windows 10 should allow this and handle it as well as previous OSes did.
