    BSOD - MemoryManagement - ntoskrnl.exe+ 14a6f0

This BSOD happened as I just started typing into Firefox, not that I think that is related but you never know.

I am having problems with the Samsung phone USB drivers crashing even though I have the latest drivers I believe. That is WUDFHost.exe which is crashing with Exception code: 0xc0000005.

Please can someone suggest where I should begin looking?

    Thanks
    Rob.

BSOD indicates memory_corruption. Could be ram, could be driver.

I noticed your BIOS is downlevel, there is a newer 5e version on the manufacturers web site:

You have the F3 01/08/2014 version, F5e 2015/05/07 is available. Download and update BIOS, see if it helps.

I ran a MEMTEST86+ last night. Run for over sixteen hours, 9 and a third passes without a single error. So we can say RAM is probably alright.

Thanks very much for the heads up regarding the graphics drivers. I thought my system did automatic updates for that sort of stuff. A more up to date bios wouldn't be a bad thing given how long it took me last night to figure out how to boot from a CD again.

Always see this. In the bios you see it running at 1866 it is just windows reporting only 1333. Maybe windows can't read the extreme memory profile properly.

I downloaded the latest drivers from Gigabyte and there is nothing to update. I have the latest even if they are dated 2014. I could be wrong.

I am going to upgrade the BIOS next.

My system was already 16.12.2 but I followed your link and installed 16.12.1. I am not sure all went well because there are quite a few errors in the eventlog.

    This one looks worrying:
Activation context generation failed for "C:\Program Files\AMD\CIM\Bin64\SetACL64.exe". Dependent Assembly Microsoft.VC80.MFC,processorArchitecture="amd64",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",type="win32",vers ion="8.0.50608.0" could not be found. Please use sxstrace.exe for detailed diagnosis.

I am not sure whether it matters or not. My system is running OK as far as I can tell.
