You appear to have a illegal installation of Windows 10 on the Sony laptop. Please correct this by installing and activating a legal copy. If you then get any more BSODs, run DM_Log_collector and upload the zip file and I'll be happy to take a look at it.

If you did a factory restore then it should not be illegal, unless you mean you did it after I mentioned this?

I did it when i got the laptop, so no not after you mentioned it.

Edit: maybe i know what issue it might be, before i bought this laptop for my wife she had a older notebook. I used windows 8.1 and did the free upgrade to windows 10. When i bought this laptop i switched the hard drive and wanted to see what windows 10 would do with the drivers. Everything worked well except for the wifi driver. So then i did a factory restore and did all the updates via cable. Checked my license status and still says activated.

maybe that is why my copy of windows might return as illegal, because to many hardware changed ??? Then again why does my system says i am activated ? I know when you make alot of changes back in the old days windows would not accept it and you had to call or something to get the license back

Why are you running the KMS client on this system? It's only use that I'm aware of for non corporate Windows is to bypass/fake activation.

Maybe this helps to explain what I see. It's from Andre Da Costa in another forum:

    Code:
You are running a Windows 10 Pro client that uses a Volume License KMS key for activation: <ActiveSkuDescription>Windows(R) Operating System, VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel</ActiveSkuDescription>
KMS licenses require authenticating through a Domain or VPN in order to activate.
Your computer is not domain joined.
Which version and edition of Windows did you upgrade from?
Based on the report, the license is not genuine.

I don't know how that tool got installed on my ssd drive, i got the offer to install windows 10 for free when i had windows 7.

Now to get to the main problem, the bsod was related to a driver that didn't work for windows 10 (wifi). I reinstalled windows on my wifes laptop and used the original key from the sticker under the laptop. Everything is working fine now.
