You're right, sorry. The sorting by name moved it to the top of the list, not where I expected it.

    Code:
    BugCheck 1A, {4477, 1293000b, 0, 0}
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for bcmwl63a.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for bcmwl63a.sys
Driver Description: Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter wireless driver - I believe you actually have a Dell Wireless 1550 802.11ac.

The one you have is dated: Mon Nov 23 17:56:21 2015

The large memory dump has the same error indicated. Look for an updated driver for the Dell Wireless 1550 802.11ac and if no luck try the Broadcom 802.11 Network Adapter.

The sad news is that Dell don't have a more recent driver listed, and I couldn't find a suitable one on Broadcom's site

I'll take another look at the Broadcom site just in case I missed it.

Otherwise I guess it's a case of contact Dell Support and hope they do something (I can dream).

    Thank you for looking

The M6800 is a Dell Precision M6800, correct? If so, you can actually replace the wireless card with something newer.

Here are instructions for a M6600 which is the same: Dell Precision M6600 Wireless WLAN Card Removal and Installation

Any recommendations? I'm leery of Intel wireless cards from past experience, but as I had an Intel 7260-AC in my bits box, I installed it.

Net result was that with MS default drivers, the WiFi appeared fine, but Bluetooth was borked (driver code 43).

I downloaded the latest Intel 7260AC BT driver 19.11.1639.649 from:

    Download Intel(R) Wireless Bluetooth(R) Software for Windows(R) 10

and installed it. And at least the Bluetooth device remained active. I've had no time to reinstall all my BT devices yet.

    Update status:

Arrgghhhh code 43 again after a reboot looks like my worries about Intel cards were right.

    All the best,
    Dave

Force update to the latest Broadcom drivers by going to the Device manager -> Network Adapters -> Dell Wireless 1550 802.11ac -> Driver -> Update Driver -> Search Automatically for updated driver software.
The latest one is provided by Broadcom through the Window update, dated 22 Nov 2016, v7.35.352.0 signed by Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.

There will be no more BSODs after date. Currently Dell support sites still provide Dell DW1550 drivers v7.35.333.0 which contains Broadcam 2015 drivers that still cause BSOD with bcmwl63a.sys

No updates for bluetooth were found on Windows update, so only the 802.11ac drivers need to be force-updated.
