    BSOD DPC Watchdog Violation

Hi guys, I hope you can help me. So i had a GTX 1070 that went out on me and while I getting the new one from EVGA I used my old GTX 760. I got the new one today and installed my 1070. I used DDU to make sure I didn't have any conflicting driver issues. Well while I was playing game I got this BSOD and keep getting it randomly and I don't know why or what the issue is.

It seems to me it has to be some kind of driver issue my game freezes but I can still hear audio and then the whole computer locks up and then BSOD.

Attached is the dump file please help.

The latest dump does point to the new 1070 card or driver.
    Code:
    BugCheck 116, {ffffa48515d2f4a0, fffff800b69d55d0, 0, d}

*** ERROR: Symbol file could not be found. Defaulted to export symbols for dxgmms2.sys -
*** WARNING: Unable to verify timestamp for nvlddmkm.sys
*** ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for nvlddmkm.sys
    Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys ( nvlddmkm+1555d0 )
You have the latest available driver.

    Version: 376.33 WHQL
    Release Date: 2016.12.14

All I can think of to try is a older driver for the 1070 or RMA the new card and see if a different one works better.

You could also try using DDU again to uninstall then reinstall the driver as follows:

Remove and install latest Nvidia drivers:

I suggest completely uninstalling the Nvidia display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile (near bottom of page) then get the latest driver for you Nvidia card here: NVIDIA Driver Downloads

Then do a custom install of only the NVidia graphics driver and the PhysX driver.

See if that gets rid of the problem.

Thanks for the response. Late last night I just had a thought to update my SSD's firmware since im using a Samsung EVO 840 and I know there was some issues with them and the only time the computer crashed was when I was accessing a game from that drive.

Since last night computer ran all night and no BSOD going to let it run and see if it crashes. If it does I'll do another DDU clean install of the drivers and let you know.

    Thanks again.

So it BSOD again. I ran the DDU and reinstalled the drivers again making sure I only selected the NVidia graphics driver and the PhysX driver. Lets see if this works.

    Edit: It's still happening
