    BSOD SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION - NETIO.SYS - browsing/downloading

    Hey, team.

I just bought (hours ago) a new laptop to replace a dead one, and already I've had two crashes to a BSOD blaming NETIO.SYS.

I just did a clean Windows reset, uninstalled stuff that was unquestionably unimportant software, and have since been downloading and installing apps. It's happened twice already.

Too soon, replacement laptop - you were supposed to be the solution..!

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help/explore this with me.

This is highly likely to be the ASUS software causing this. The NFC_driver.sys file is a likely cause:

    Thank you very much, philc43.

Been running stable for a week or so, now, after removing that problematic driver.

I sincerely appreciate you having taken the time to help.

    Peace
