    BSOD driver_power_state_failure

I've been getting a BSOD that the windows diplays as driver power state failure when shutting down. I've tried updating every important driver that I can think of (Graphics, Chipset, BIOS, VGA, audio, ATK), and when the problem seems solved it happens again. It happened when I have my charger unpugled and when Im using Adobe software. It also happened when the computer was in power saving mode, but I changed it to not go in power saving mode, to always be in full performance and it stills happen.
I've run the BlueScreenView and it says its caused by driver: ntoskrnl.exe (address :ntoskrnl.exe+14a2c0). I've not searched much about this but I know it can be related with RAM or overclocking. I've not ran a memtest yet, I just did a Windows Memory Diagnostic and no problems were found. Overclocking is not the problem either as I never tried to do so.
I'm not an expert in PC but I always try to solve the problems I get by searching but I've not manage to solve this one, so if you could help me I would appreciate a lot

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi axe0. Thanks for replying.

Yesterday I contacted asus in hope to see the problem solved and they adviced me to do a system reset. I did and the problem still persists. I uploaded the file I created today with the DM log collector but I believe its exactly the same problem as it looks exactly the same in BlueScreenView. Also there are no pirated programs in the computer as I did a system reset.

    Cheers

Please uninstall everything of Nvidia using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from ASUS. Be sure the clean install box is checked and only install the Graphics driver and the PhysX driver, you can use this tutorial for the installation part NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems - Windows 7 Help Forums

I've done as you said and so far it's ok. Going to test it for a day or two and report back.

Thanks a lot for the help.

    Hello again axe0,

Unfortunately the problem persists.. Just had 2 bsod yesterday and 1 today. Same exact error.
I can only add that it only does when on battery as it runs ok when charging.

    Thanks!
