    BSOD when waking from sleep

    Greetings forum,

Ever since I upgraded to Windows 10, I've been seeing BSODs about once a month when waking my desktop from sleep. I would greatly appreciate any help on this matter.

I've never encountered this on Windows 8.1.

I've attached the zip file as instructed in the posting instructions thread. My PC specs are in my profile, if that is needed. Feel free to ask me for any other details that maybe required.

    Thank you for your time!

It appears your installation is counterfeit, as such I cannot provide support until it has been cleared up.

Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and analysts won't try it.
I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.

That's rather odd. I upgraded from a valid Windows 8.1. I guess I'll just have to wait for Microsoft's reply.
    Thanks anyway!

    Hey all,

Been messing around with my BIOS options and disabling fast boot and dummy power loading may have fixed the issue, since I haven't had any BSODs since. I'll report after further use/testing.

Microsoft support has been rubbish so far.

I had no other choice than to reinstall Windows and now it's working just fine.
