    ok...will start chkdsk /r...that is going to take a while on 3TB drive...do you see anything unusual in the scans?

    The only point may be the reallocated sector count on your 250GB HDD.

    hung at 15% for a day, so I stopped it

    Please run it again and don't interrupt it, it could take a few days before it finishes.

    Those text files are copies from the command prompt, they don't contain much useful information.
