kernel power error

    kernel power error


    twice in two days my computer has shut down while im using it , it a surface 3 windows 10

    processor :intel(r) atom(tm) x7-Z8700 CPU @ 1.60GHZ
    ram:2gb


    I check the event viewer and this came up:
    The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

    Either I'm not understanding the question, or you've answered it yourself

    I would recommend to check your laptop manufacturer for driver updates and install/reinstall all available drivers, you'd want to check for BIOS updates too.
