    So I have installed drivers with driver booster because my so called "friend" said it's a reputable thing. Keep in mind this is my first time building a computer. I had it set to put restore points up for when I downloaded drives but it has none. Also, when I'm trying to upload the MEMORY.dmp, it says I need administrators permission, even though I am the admin.

    And I've also never seen that "Vector smash protection is enabled" either.

    A FYI, IObit programs are just very bad. They can and in many situations will cause a lot of programs including unbootable systems.
    I consider companies making driver update programs bad companies. This is because you do not know where those drivers come from and if these programs truly only do what they claim, update the right drivers. I haven't looked at the documentation of the program, mainly because I do not find it worth it to spend time on the IObit site, but you should ask where the drivers really come from. They take them from the cloud, but where do they come from before they are in the cloud?
    Besides, the last time I used Driver Booster, a couple of months ago on one of my VM's, it replaced drivers that are from Windows. A reboot was required, end result was me having to reinstall the VM.

    A dump cannot be accessed on there original location, you need to copy them to a different location to upload them.
    Code:
    cd\Windows
    copy *.dmp %userprofile%\desktop
    these are the commands I use when copying dumps to the desktop from an admin command prompt.

    2 things that need correction
    1. Open the command prompt as administrator (right click > run as administrator)
    2. %drewb%\desktop should be %userprofile%\desktop, %userprofile% is an environment variable that points to C:\Users\{username}\

    The dump can only be accessed through command prompt if you run it as administrator. When you run it as administrator and enter cd\Windows it should look like
    C:\Windows\system32>cd\Windows
    Else it looks like
    C:\Users\{username}

    I hope this has cleared up a few things :)

    Have you ever thought about using some kind of program like teamviewer so you could just control it to find what you need while I'm gone?
