TY MRPEPKA.
I updated my Nvidia driver and because I dont use it, disabled and uninstalled the Hauppage. If I still get PFN CORRUPT on shutdown should I rerun/repost logs to further analyze?
MePepka I tried to rerun the log collector but it failed and gave some red error msg in my powershell, like it only works once (?)
Thank you. Whe I went to replicate the error the log collector worked!
Here is the link I made OWNER981841-PC-(2020-07-19_09-23-38).zip - Google Drive
1. Run Driver Verifier Manager through type "verifier" in search bottom
2. Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)"
3. Tick all standard settings and 1 additional setting (Low Resources Simulation)
4. Select "Select driver names from a list"
5. Tick all 3rd party drivers and 4 Microsoft drivers (usbport.sys, usbd.sys, usbxhci.sys and usb3hub.sys)
6. Accept changes and reboot computer
Thank you MrPepka. I did this. Was I supposed to upload logs or something? (Still getting PFN CORRUPT.)
More info on Driver Verifier:
Run Driver Verifier
Driver Verifier-- tracking down a mis-behaving driver.
Following the instructions in the above link will check for problems in all non-Microsoft drivers.
What we're looking for is a verifier generated BSOD with a mini dump that will tell us what driver caused it. If you get a BSOD, rerun the V2 log collector as soon as possible and upload the resulting zip file. Also see if there is a new C:\Windows \MEMORY.DMP file. If there is, copy it to another location then zip it an upload to a file sharing site like OneDrive and post a link to it here.
To check if verifier is active, open a Command Prompt and enter:
verifier /query
If not active it will respond with
No drivers are currently verified.
If you have questions, see this additional tutorial which may help to clear things up.
