    Read through this tutorial, it has lots of good advice for the best results.
    Even if you don't go this route, there might be something in it that helps.

    You might consider installing Win10 on a new drive if your budget allows. I'm not sure how Raid 1 might affect your install - a new drive would not be in the redundant array.

    Ok, Windows Update is going to send you 1607 anyway ... thought you might save a step.
